For those of you that still have their Apple TVs on tvOS 11.3 depending on your situation you can jailbreak it with one of the tutorials below.
A month after the 11.4 update 11.4.1 comes with some minor updates.
Over the last few month it has honestly been tough covering the Apple TV as most of the updates have been minor. The last major update introduced AirPlay 2.
Unless any new bugs arise, this will most likely be the final stop before tvOS 12 which is due for a Fall release.

As previously only available to Apple TV 4K owners. Frame matching is now available on all Apple TVs (4th Gen and 4K). An altogether small and modest update but keep in mind that no jailbreak is available for tvOS 11.3 and it is available to max tvOS 11.1. So stay tuned for the go ahead to update.

Amazing news and a wonderful Christmas gift to all! Jailbreak developer Jonathan Levin has released a Jailbreak for TVOS 11 (and 11.1). The jailbreaking tool called LiberTV is currently not compatible with the TVOS version 11.2. But can be applied by using the steps below.
